By using Menu Simplify, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

2. Description of Service

Menu Simplify helps you understand restaurant menus by analyzing photos you take. Our AI-powered analysis identifies ingredients, potential allergens, and dietary compatibility based on your preferences.

3. Important Health Disclaimer

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY:

• Menu Simplify's analysis is provided as guidance only and should not replace medical advice for allergies or dietary restrictions.
• Our AI interprets menu text and may not have complete information about all ingredients used in restaurant dishes.
• Restaurant recipes and ingredients may change without notice.
• Always confirm ingredients with restaurant staff if you have severe allergies or critical dietary needs.
• We are not liable for any adverse reactions resulting from reliance on our analysis without verification.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Premium subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings (Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions).
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their App Store policies.
• Free trial periods, if offered, will convert to paid subscriptions if not cancelled before the trial ends.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use Menu Simplify only for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Only capture menu photos for the purpose of dietary analysis.
• Not use the service to capture or process any inappropriate or illegal content.
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or circumvent any security features of the app.

6. Intellectual Property

The Menu Simplify application, including its original content, features, functionality, AI models, and design, are and will remain the exclusive property of Menu Simplify and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the app.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Menu Simplify, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, or any personal injury or health consequences resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service, or from reliance on the dietary analysis provided.

9. "As Is" Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of dietary analysis, non-infringement, or course of performance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
